We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for guest services.
Duties
- Efficiently deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area while ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including bussing tables and assisting with resetting for new guests.
- Monitor food safety standards by adhering to proper handling techniques during delivery.
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to enhance overall service efficiency.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels of supplies needed for service.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in hotel or restaurant settings.
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and culinary terminology is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience using POS systems is a plus.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude towards guest services and collaboration.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
