Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for guest services.
Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Assist servers with the setup and breakdown of tables during meal service.
- Ensure that all food items are presented according to restaurant standards before serving.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain a high standard of hygiene.
- Assist with bussing tables as needed to ensure a smooth flow of service.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or requests promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is essential.
- Experience in food preparation or banquet services is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment are necessary.
