Easy Bistro & Bar in Chattanooga's West Village is seeking a key team member for our food runner & server assistant position. The position includes a lot of multi-tasking and essentially being trained at two job roles. Ideal applicants are responsible team players who have strong interpersonal skills and can handle multiple tasks in a composed, friendly and hospitable manner.
The ideal food runner/server assistant will have previous experience in a high volume restaurant and can carry multiple plates at one time. You must be able to stand for an extended period of time and wear a smile. This position is one of the first faces table side. A true understanding of hospitality is key.
You should have at least one year of experience in a high volume environment. You must be able to think critically about service standards and making adjustments in the moment.
Hourly pay in the $15-$18 range and is based on experience. Full house tip share is also included.

Responsibilities
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to tables promptly and accurately.
- Ensure that dining areas are clean and well-organized, including bussing tables as needed.
- Support food preparation and assist in maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
- Utilize POS systems like Aloha and Micros for order processing and payments.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries and needs efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall dining experience.
