JANUS Research Group is currently seeking a Force Development SSO for a contract to support the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS, G8. The DCS G-8 is the principal military advisor to the Chief of Staff, Army (CSA) and the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Financial Management and Comptroller (ASA(FMC)) for the Programming phase of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. The DCS, G-8 coordinates with the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)) on all proposed programming and process recommendations related to ongoing and future acquisition programs and science and technology initiatives. The DCS, G-8 coordinates with Army Futures Command (AFC) for program funding for all elements of the future force materiel modernization enterprise.

Qualifications:

  • Posses a foundational level of tactical and operational experience in Army units with the following types of equipment
    • Engineer (Tactical Bridging, Construction, Mines and Munitions, Counter Explosive Hazard, Engineer Support Constructions, Engineer Command and Control
    • Military Police
    • Explosive Ordnance Disposal
    • Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN)
  • Active Top Secret or TS/SCI security clearance

  • RQM 1010 / CLR 101: Introduction to JCIDS Course
  • RQM 1100 series / RQM 110: Core Concepts for Requirements Management Course/Capabilities Development Course (CDC)
  • RQM 3100 / 310: Advanced Concepts and Skills Course
  • CLR 151: Analysis of Alternatives
  • RQM 2500 / CLR 250: Capabilities Based Assessments
  • RQM 2520 / CLR 252: Developing Performance Attributes
