Overview: This position will be in Dwight, IL.
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to efficiently move, load, unload, and stack products.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and related equipment to transport materials and products within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers with precision, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Stack and store materials in designated areas according to inventory management procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management by performing regular counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team member to meet production and distribution goals.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and equipment operation.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing setting. Must have at least 2 years of forklift operator experience.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to material handling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good comunication skills and a positive attitude.
This position will be in Dwight, IL.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-4:00 pm
- There may be overtime on Saturdays.
