Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts, including cherry pickers and cranes, to facilitate the efficient movement of materials within our facility. This role is crucial in ensuring that our shipping and receiving processes run smoothly and that inventory is accurately managed.
Duties
- Operate forklifts, including cherry pickers and cranes, to load and unload materials safely.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed.
- Assist in shipping and receiving tasks, verifying the accuracy of shipments against packing lists.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize order picking processes.
- Handle materials with care during transportation to prevent damage.
