The Framer frames new structures with precise measuring, cutting, assembling, and fixing wood to wood and wood to steel under the direction of the Framing Superintendent for JTS Modular, Inc. construction projects.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one (1) Year hands-on, related experience performing framing work
- Passage of physical and drug screen
- Must competently follow verbal and written instructions and strictly adhere to safety protocol
- Ability to organize and maintain an organized system of customary job duties
- Must be able to work semi-independently
General Physical Requirements
- Sitting, standing, walking, jogging, leaping, running on uneven ground, stairs, or elevated structures
- May climb, balance, stoop, stretch, kneel, crouch, crawl
- Physically lifting to fifty (50) pounds
- Hand dexterity to use tools, type, or hand-write
- Reaches with hands or arms and performs movements such as pulling, pushing, hammering
- Ability to speak verbally and raise voice when necessary
- Must have the ability to hear
- Must have adequate vision to see
- Ability to work inside a building or structure
- Ability to work outside in different types of weather to include wet conditions such as ice, rain, sleet, heat, direct sun exposure, and in rare cases, snow.
- Ability to work long hours associated with construction deadlines.
