We’re looking for 1–2 freelance photographers to join our extended team and support us with project-based work when our in-house photographer is unavailable or when a different creative style is needed.

The Role
As a freelance photographer, you’ll be called on for various client shoots — typically scheduled with 1–2 weeks’ notice. We’re seeking someone reliable, collaborative, and passionate about producing great work.
Typical Projects Include:
- Content for social media
- Website hero/header images
- Advertising campaigns (digital and print)
- Team or individual headshots
- Occasional product photography or lifestyle shoots
What You’ll Do:
- Capture high-quality imagery on-location at client sites or in-office
- Set up and adjust lighting, angles, and composition to meet project goals
- Work with our team to understand creative direction and shot lists
- Guide clients and subjects comfortably through the shoot
- Edit and deliver final assets on time
- Represent J&R Marketing with professionalism and creativity
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience and a strong portfolio of past work
- Own your own photography gear (camera, lenses, lighting, etc.)
- Strong understanding of lighting, framing, and post-production
- Ability to take creative direction and also work independently
- Friendly, professional attitude and great communication skills
- Flexibility in schedule — most shoots are scheduled in advance, but occasional short-notice availability is a plus
