Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic French Tutor to provide high-quality language instruction to middle school students. The ideal candidate will inspire a love of the French language and culture while helping students strengthen their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide engaging one-on-one or small group French lessons tailored to students’ levels and goals.
- Develop lesson plans that support language acquisition and fluency.
- Reinforce grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational skills.
- Assist students with homework, test preparation, and school assignments when applicable.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support improvement.
- Incorporate cultural elements (literature, media, history, daily expressions) to enrich learning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, Linguistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Native or near-native fluency in French.
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, encouraging, and passionate about language learning.
Schedule & Location:
- Flexible schedule (online sessions).
- Part-time position; hours based on student needs.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 per week
