Responsibilities
- Assist in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation and presentation.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and quality in food service.
- Oversee shift management to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
- Collaborate with the management team on inventory control and ordering supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
- Support banquet operations, including planning and executing events as needed.
- Utilize POS systems for order processing and tracking sales.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, with a focus on food service management.
- Demonstrated skills in team management and leadership within a culinary setting.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including cooking techniques and menu development.
- Experience with inventory control processes to manage stock levels effectively.
- Knowledge of banquet service procedures is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff and customers.
