Job Summary

Responsibilities

- Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, ensuring it is sanitized and presentable.
- Assist with food preparation and bussing tables as needed in a restaurant setting.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards during food handling and preparation.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate cash handling and change giving.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient operations during busy periods.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role within a restaurant, grocery store, or quick service fast food restaurant is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment are required.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional customer service are crucial for success in this role.
