- Job Title: Paraprofessional (School and Home settings)
- Location(s): Walnut Creek
- Start Date: November 15-Dec 1
- Time: 30+ hrs. per week / Monday thru Friday. During the school day and after school. Weekends available if desired.
- Rate: $30 - 35/hour (depending on experience)
We are currently hiring 1 position 30+ hours per week and require during school and after school availability. Location is Walnut Creek with potential clients in Moraga, Orinda, Berkeley, and Marin.
Responsibilities and Duties: Provide 1:1 support to address executive functioning challenges, emotional regulation, facilitate social interactions, and teach skills.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience with behavior modification, and social thinking curriculum.
- Is focused on helping with emotion regulation.
- Can implement academic curriculum.
- Understands complexity and approaches it positively.
- Has a strong sense of self and is eager to learn new skills in working with special needs youth.
- Has a reliable means of transportation.
Required Experience: Minimum (2) years paraprofessional or ABA experience with a special needs child/teen in a home or classroom setting.
If you are accruing hours towards licensure as a Psych Assistant, MFTi, or ASW: Supervision is provided, and you will be paid to complete your hours.
Health Insurance: Health insurance coverage is available to employees working at least 20 hours per week.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
