Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining a positive shopping experience for customers.

Duties

• Assist in supervising daily store operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Manage retail sales activities, including setting sales goals and monitoring performance metrics.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Recruit, interview, and train new staff members while fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and oversee cash handling procedures.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with merchandising to maximize product visibility.
• Implement marketing strategies to promote store promotions and enhance customer engagement.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment that reflects the brand's standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail sales or management roles is preferred.
• Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in cash handling procedures with attention to detail.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences.
• Knowledge of retail management practices is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
