We are a Bakery and Italian Pasticceria in downtown Bath, Maine! We produce wholesale baked goods that reach along the coast in Maine and have a retail storefront Italian pastry shop with espresso bar that serves the local community year round. We have a great team but we continue to grow and are now seeking an additional pastry chef to support our afternoon/evening production schedule.

Qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience with some style of pastry prep or baking work, high volume (production) setting ideal
- experience operating deck oven or wood-fired oven
- experience basic starting recipes
- experience with artisanal breads and/or pastries
- basic knife and prep skills
- commitment to high standards of quality, efficiency and consistency
- willingness to learn and explore new techniques
Responsibilities:
- operating higher-volume technical baking equipment
- day-to-day production without constant oversight
- ability to communicate well and work on a small but tight team
- strong math for volume recipes
- strong time management skills for multitasking baking projects
- this job is a physically demanding position that involves bending, lifting (up to 50lbs), twisting, squatting and reaching
