Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and organized Funeral Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our funeral home. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of funeral directing, bereavement support, and event planning. This role requires a dedicated individual who can provide exceptional service to families during their time of need, ensuring that all aspects of the funeral process are handled with dignity and respect.
Responsibilities
- Assist Funeral Directors with the overall operations of the funeral home, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Provide guidance and support to families in planning funeral services, including selecting caskets, urns, and memorial products.
- Coordinate logistics for funerals, including transportation, setup, and event planning to create meaningful services.
- Offer bereavement support to families before, during, and after the service.
- Maintain inventory of funeral supplies and manage vendor relationships for procurement.
- Handle administrative tasks such as record keeping, sales reporting, and financial management.
- Ensure the funeral home is clean, organized, and welcoming for families at all times.
- Assist with heavy lifting as necessary during services or when preparing facilities.

- Computer literacy and ability to use basic computer programs.
- Exceptional communication skills with a compassionate approach to client interactions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
