Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
- Sell products by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable options.
- Demonstrate product features through engaging product demos to enhance customer interest.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Maintain organized stock levels on shelves and ensure timely restocking of merchandise.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly.
- Utilize basic math skills to handle cash transactions and provide change accurately.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Exhibit professional phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain cleanliness in the store.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members.
