Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Garage Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of garage doors. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with power tools, and the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Garage Door Installer will work closely with clients to ensure their needs are met while adhering to safety standards and company policies. You will pick up from a local manufcature and we will make sure you day is full from Monday to Friday.
Duties
- Install and repair residential and commercial garage doors, including hardware and accessories.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for installation tasks.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during the installation process.
- Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate installations.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on installed garage doors to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide exceptional customer service.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to garage door systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all job sites.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in trim carpentry, frame carpentry, or remodeling is preferred.
- Strong electrical knowledge related to garage door systems is beneficial.
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely and efficiently.
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools necessary for installation tasks.
- Solid mechanical knowledge with the capability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
