Affordable Overhead Garage Door is now hiring for a driven Garage Door Technician/Installer! No previous experience required – we’re ready to train!
Affordable Overhead is the leading garage door installation and repair company in Elizabethtown, KY and surrounding areas.
As a Garage Door Technician, you'll be provided tools and use of a company vehicle to complete your day to day installs and service. You’ll work in a mix of new construction and commercial installs as well as replacement doors and service. We’re looking for someone willing to learn the trade on the front side so they can run their own truck on the back side. We offer very competitive pay as well as incentives for exceptional work.
All tasks would include the above as well as building and presenting quotes to repair or replace doors, perform garage door repairs and maintenance, replacements for residential and commercial clients, new installs, framing, maintain rapport with customers, and more.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
HS Diploma or Equivalent
No previous garage door repair or installation experience required

Comfortable with face-to-face customer interaction
Strong and organized work ethic
Ability to read and understand directions and instructions
RESPONSIBILITIES
Install and repair garage doors and their components (openers, etc.) and assisting with customer service issues
Safe driving of company vehicles to and from client locations
Safe operation on the work site, and with equipment
Once trained, help with training new technicians
Other duties may be assigned when necessary

Valid driver’s license
Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel to multiple client locations in a day.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
