We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical General Accountant to manage our full cycle accounting process monthly and through year-end ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The General Accountant will also be responsible for the A/P, A/R and fixed asset processes aligned with the full cycle process.
- Prepare and post journal entries for routine and non-routine transactions
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and adjustments
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
- Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of required documentation
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies
- Collaborate with other departments and manager to gather financial data and support budgeting efforts
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and files
- Process Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed assets contacting vendors and customers to maintain acceptable DSO and DPO levels.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2–4 years of professional accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- CPA certification or progress toward CPA is a plus
Preferred Attributes:

- Familiarity with financial reporting and compliance standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
