Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Construction Laborer to join our team. This position involves working on a variety of construction sites, performing physical labor tasks to assist with building and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate has experience in construction, follows safety procedures, and works well in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
Prepare construction sites by cleaning and removing debris
Operate hand and power tools
Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople
Erect and dismantle temporary structures
Dig trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth
Perform general site cleanup and organization
Help with material handling and staging
Qualifications:
Previous construction or labor experience preferred but not required
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
Reliable transportation
Strong work ethic and punctuality
Willingness to work in various weather conditions
Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE usage
