Dentist Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dentist who has extensive experience in Endodontics to join the endodontic division of our multi-specialty practice. Majority of patients are dentical or cash. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality root canal treatment and retreat root canals to our patients. A minimum of 3 years experience is required and if you have worked for an Endo only practice such as root-vision that is a plus. You must be able to perform minimum 10-14 RCTs which include molar teeth and retreat RCTs per day. Compensation is 35% of production, typical compensation is between $2200 to $3500 per day, depending on how proficient you are in doing RCTs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans for root canals
- Educate patients.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality
- Maintain infection control protocols in the dental office
- Keep detailed and accurate medical records of patient treatments
Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
- Valid state dental license
- Proficiency in endodontics
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health principles
