Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team on various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating heavy machinery and a strong understanding of construction site operations. This role involves physical labor, including digging, building, and assisting with the operation of equipment such as directional drills, excavator, dump trucks, track loaders, quad track plows etc.
We install utilities on vdot right of ways, general excavating, grading septic, water/storm sewer line installation. Etc etc
Duties
- Perform physical labor tasks such as digging trenches, building structures, and moving materials on-site.
- Maintain and inspect equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on the construction site.
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of job sites as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a laborer role or similar position is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus, particularly with heavy machinery operation.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 55 per week
