Position Overview – General Manager:
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee all operations. This leadership role is responsible for managing day-to-day activities, driving growth, fostering a positive team culture, and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction and project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, including project supervisors, sales staff, and office personnel
- Create a collaborative and accountable work environment
Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Streamline processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness
Financial Oversight
- Manage budgets and review P&L statements to ensure financial health
- Identify opportunities to increase profitability
Customer Satisfaction
- Maintain strong relationships with clients
- Resolve issues proactively and ensure an outstanding customer experience
Sales & Growth
- Work with the sales team to pursue new opportunities and expand market reach
- Set and achieve revenue goals in alignment with company objectives
Quality Assurance
- Uphold the highest standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail across all projects
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and internal policies
Strategic Planning
- Partner with senior leadership to define and implement growth strategies and operational improvements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a General Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role in construction or home improvement
- Strong knowledge of roofing, siding, gutters, windows, and other exterior services
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Financially savvy with the ability to manage budgets and analyze profitability
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiar with construction project management and operations
