Our mission is simple: safe, clean, and joyful play every day. We are looking for a driven and compassionate General Manager to lead our team and grow with our company.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the daycare, boarding, and grooming departments
- Hire, train, schedule, and lead a team of daycare attendants and support staff
- Ensure a clean, safe, and enriching environment for dogs in our care
- Build strong relationships with pet parents through exceptional customer service
- Monitor and maintain inventory, supplies, and equipment
- Handle administrative tasks including payroll, reporting, and budgeting
- Collaborate with ownership on business performance and improvement strategies
- Uphold health, safety, and cleanliness protocols
Qualifications
- 1+ years of management experience (pet care, hospitality, or retail preferred)
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for dogs and understanding of basic canine behavior
- Comfortable with technology (scheduling software, POS systems, email communication)
Preferred But Not Required
- Experience working in a dog daycare or animal care facility
- Pet CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified
- Familiarity with dog group play and behavior assessments
