About Position:
Catering a Fresco, located within the Overture Center for the Arts, is hiring for a General Manager position. General Manager oversees the operations of catering events and food and beverage for performances. This includes managing food and beverage services for events, ensuring seamless integration with event planning and coordination. Operations include FOH, BOH, training, finance, payroll and employee development. The General Manager must meet or exceed budgeted goals including revenue, profit, and cost control. The General Manager is responsible for the oversight of all marketing, promotion, training, hospitality, and the overall health of the business.
Job Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- A hospitality-first mindset
- 3-5 years of relevant management experience in food & beverage in a restaurant or experience in managing high volume catering logistics for overlapping events and shows or performances
- Experience in event planning and management, particularly in the context of performing arts venues, preferred.
- Experience in leading and training teams of 25 or more employees
- Profit & loss expertise with proven history of revenue growth, labor, cost of goods sold, and expense management
- Obtain a ServSafe certificate and Responsible Sellers within 90 days of employment
