Fritz’s Railroad Restaurant in Crown Center now hiring for a General Manager. As the General Manager you are responsible for managing the overall daily operations of the restaurant. This includes maintaining Fritz’s standard of providing great food in a fun, clean and safe environment. At Fritz’s Railroad Restaurant, providing guests with an enjoyable Fritz’s experience comes first.
Responsibilities will include:
· Hiring, training, coordinating, and managing employees ready to provide a great Fritz’s experience
· Ensure that every guest leaves the restaurant happy and satisfied
· Making sure employees understand their daily duties and the reason behind them
· Set and maintain a clear level of expectation and provide employees with coaching when needed
· Create a fun and stress free work environment
· Ability to manage food and labor costs
· Maintain and enforce Fritz’s strict sanitation and safety guidelines
· Ensure each employee understands the Fritz’s Way
Preferred Qualifications
· High standards for self and crew
· Two or more years managing upwards of 30 team members in restaurant/hospitality industry
· General knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation
· Come to work with a positive attitude and the ability to maintain that attitude in stressful situations
· Ability to problem solve and come up with solutions on the fly
· Eagerness to learn each and everyday
· Ability to prioritize your tasks and complete them on time
· Basic communication, math and reading skills
· Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
