Overview
Kingston Bread and Bar's General Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our new storefront at 608 Broadway, with oversight of both Front- and Back-of-House, guest relations, quality of service and products, cleanliness and appearance of the space, adherence to food and safety codes, compliance with company standards, recruiting, hiring, termination, and retention of team members, financial accountability, and team well-being and happiness. The GM reports directly to owners: Aaron (Head Food Guy), Amanda (Head of Operations), and Anthony (Head of Service).

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee menu changes, additions, specials, etc.
- Oversee morning setup and preparation for shift, with emphasis on appearance of shop and readiness behind the counter
- Coordinate scheduling of FOH and BOH teams (with assistance from Kitchen Head), including arranging for subs, etc.
- Stay active behind the bar and on the floor. Anticipates guest needs; pitches in with bussing, dishes, and service where needed
- "Own the shop," maintaining pleasant, energetic, welcoming atmosphere (e.g., music, lighting, temperature, etc.)
- Be an active and knowledgeable enthusiast for KBB products and hospitality
- Solve guest issues when they go beyond our team's ability
- Represent us as owners on a daily basis, and us and our company outside the shop
- Oversee quality control of food and drinks
- Oversee in-house logistics and finances, including drawers, drops, deliveries, invoices, inventory, and profit-and-loss for storefront
- Saturdays and Sundays availability required

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
