Pure Barre Brookline is looking for a mature, experienced, positive General Manager. In this role, you will support daily operations, ensure exceptional client experiences, and drive business success. Key ResponsibilitiesStudio Operations & Management:
- Foster a positive team environment that upholds high performance standards and collaboration among staff, managers, and owners
- Manage class scheduling to ensure that Teachers are assigned to classes and in the event of Teacher absence, illness, vacation, etc. classes will be re-assigned to other Teachers.
- Oversee daily studio operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to Pure Barre standards. Report all issues, problems, etc. immediately to studio owners.
- Manage opening and closing procedures, ensuring the studio is prepared for each class.
- Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Ensure the studio is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming for clients and staff.
Team Leadership & Staff Management:
- Assist studio owners in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring Pure Barre instructors and Sales associates..
- Participate in performance reviews and provide ongoing support and development for team members.
- Customer Experience & Community Engagement:
- Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and motivating environment for clients.
- Communicate client feedback, inquiries, and concerns to owners promptly and professionally.
- Build relationships with clients to encourage loyalty and long-term memberships.
Administrative & Financial Responsibilities:
- Manage class scheduling, client accounts, and registrations using studio management software.
- Process payments, memberships, and retail sales accurately.
- Assist the Sales Team with local marketing efforts, including social media and email campaigns.
- Monitor studio expenses and assist with budgeting to maintain financial health.
Brand Representation:
- Serve as an enthusiastic ambassador of the Pure Barre brand.
- Maintain a strong presence in the studio and engage with the local community.
- Promote the benefits of Pure Barre and participate in classes when possible.
Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Ensure accurate billing and membership management, resolving any issues.s.
- Track and report on sales metrics, member retention, and financial performance.
- Assist in implementing promotions, discounts, and referral programs.
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in a management or leadership role in fitness, wellness, or retail industries (Pure Barre experience preferred).
- Strong business acumen with the ability to manage daily operations and long-term goals.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment with a flexible schedule.
- Experience with studio management software and point-of-sale systems is preferred.
