Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food service industry, particularly in casual and fine dining environments. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction while maintaining operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, training, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of food handling and preparation.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing vendor relationships.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer experience and drive sales growth.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and professional development.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for efficient order processing and financial reporting.
- Coordinate catering services as needed to meet customer demands.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food management within casual or fine dining settings.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
- Experience with food preparation techniques and catering services is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha, is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
