Summary
We are seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our team at Eddie's Tavern. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and fostering a fun and engaging environment for both staff and patrons. Your leadership will be key in maintaining our reputation as the go-to spot for entertainment and socializing.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the tavern to ensure smooth functioning.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to maintain high service standards.
- Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage cash handling procedures effectively.
- Coordinate events and promotions to attract customers and engage the community.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all aspects of the business.
- Develop budgets and financial plans to drive profitability.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service management or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of casual dining operations and bar management.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences.
- Experience in inventory control and cash handling procedures is essential.
