General Manager
We are seeking a passionate, service-driven General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our fine dining restaurant. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, refined hospitality instincts, and a deep understanding of both front- and back-of-house operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who leads by example, cultivates guest relationships, and ensures the highest level of dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain meaningful relationships with guests, ensuring exceptional hospitality and personalized service.
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing staff focused on excellence, efficiency, and professionalism.
- Manage labor schedules and staffing costs in line with budgeted goals without compromising quality or service.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure consistency, cleanliness, and quality across all touchpoints.
- Collaborate with the culinary and beverage teams to deliver a cohesive, elevated dining experience.
- Monitor and improve financial performance, including revenue, cost control, and profitability.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented workplace culture that supports growth and accountability.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant management role.
- Proven track record of managing labor and operational costs effectively.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and retention.
- Deep understanding of food, wine, and service standards in a high-end environment.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities with attention to detail.
- Experience with POS systems, inventory control, and financial reporting.
Preferred:
- Hospitality or business degree
- Sommelier certification or advanced wine knowledge
- Event or private dining experience
