Job Summary
We are entering year 8 of serving some of the best omakase in SF and searching for our next General Manager.
We don't take ourselves too seriously but we are serious about our work.
The team is small, so fit is extremely important. You should be nice, hospitable, empathetic, lead with your words and actions amongst other attributes.
Previous GM experience is not required. Strong references are.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, inventory control, and guest service.
- Train, develop, and supervise staff to ensure the highest levels of performance
- Implement training programs for new hires focusing service excellence, and operational procedures.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
- Conduct interviews and hire qualified candidates to build a strong team.
- Handle guest issues professionally to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Requirements
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest service excellence.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
