At Bcore, our strength comes from how we deliver impact to the mission. Whether it’s architecting critical IT solutions, producing actionable intelligence, or developing cutting edge technology, we succeed because of the expertise, collaboration, and agility of our teams. Our Insight Solutions division delivers intelligence analysis, advanced data science, and strategic decision support. Bcore accelerates decisive advantage for warfighters and intelligence professionals by fusing human insight, rapid-fire engineering, precision-measured outcomes, and relentless grit into mission-ready solutions.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a senior-level geospatial expert to join a small, high-performing team of professionals supporting the NGA Geospatial Workforce Development Pilot Program. This role requires not only technical mastery of geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) but also the vision and leadership to assess workforce needs, engage with diverse stakeholders, and communicate complex concepts to a broad spectrum of audiences — from K–12 students to PhD researchers, and from government leaders to industry executives. The successful candidate will be a recognized thought leader in geospatial sciences who can bring insight to advance regional and national utilization of geospatial technologies across multiple economic domains.

This is not a desk job. You will be traveling regularly within the St. Louis and Washington, D.C. regions, actively working in the community with academia, industry, government, and non-profit partners. Success requires being highly comfortable making connections, establishing relationships, and following through to build trusted partnerships that strengthen workforce pipelines and advance NGA mission priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct global and regional scans of workforce trends, geospatial technology adoption, and emerging capabilities.
  • Lead assessments of current and projected demand for geospatial skills across both military and civilian sectors near NGA facilities.
  • Facilitate structured engagement with NGA, IC/DoD, industry leaders, academic institutions, and local governments.
  • Evaluate education and training pipelines, identifying gaps and opportunities for curriculum alignment and credentialing.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with community stakeholders, ensuring collaboration across multiple economic domains.
  • Communicate complex geospatial concepts in clear, actionable terms to audiences ranging from policymakers to educators to community members.
  • Design and maintain frameworks, dashboards, and methodologies for tracking capability lifecycles, workforce readiness, and performance metrics.
  • Apply rapid-cycle validation methods to ensure training and capability solutions meet operational and workforce requirements.
  • Contribute to program deliverables, including interim reports, validated training modules, and a comprehensive final program report with recommendations for national scalability.
Expected Deliverables
  • Regional Workforce Assessments – reports analyzing workforce supply and demand, education pipelines, and mission needs in proximity to NGA facilities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement Reports – summaries of capability exchange sessions, participation, and stakeholder feedback across government, industry, academia, and non-profits.
  • Capability Tracking Frameworks & Performance Dashboards – tools and reports that provide ongoing insight into workforce readiness, credentialing rates, job placement, and program impact.
  • Validated Training & Capability Modules – modular, mission-relevant training solutions aligned with workforce demand.
  • Final Program Report & Recommendations – comprehensive findings, lessons learned, and a roadmap for scaling the geospatial workforce development program.
Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. citizenship (required by federal legislation).
  • Extensive, senior-level experience in geospatial intelligence (IC, DoD, or commercial sectors).
  • Strong understanding of NGA mission priorities, the U.S. government and contracting landscape, academia, and emerging technologies.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex geospatial and workforce concepts to diverse audiences, from K–12 to PhD-level, as well as across industry and government.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter who can operate independently and collaboratively within a small, senior-level team.
  • Proven ability to establish, grow, and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including government, industry, academia, and local communities.
  • Proven track record in workforce analysis, labor market modeling, or education/training program development.
  • Experience engaging with a wide array of stakeholders to assess geospatial technology workforce demands in multiple economic domains.
  • Recognized thought leader in geospatial sciences with the vision to advance regional and national adoption of geospatial technologies.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including structured interviews, surveys, and advisory panels.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable reports and dashboards.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Clearance eligibility preferred; experience working with sensitive or classified data a plus.
