Job Summary and Qualifications
The role of the Endoscopy Technician is multi/skilled. The tech performs patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The Endoscopy technician provides routine and therapeutic services necessary for the care of the patient within their scope of care. The care provided is in support of the mission of Research Medical Center. The Endoscopy technician for department 733 provides care to the young adult age 18-39, Adult age 40-64, and geriatric age 65 and older.
What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Missouri CNA required
- 3 Years immediate verifiable experience as a GI Lab Tec can be used in lieu of a Missouri CNA
- Prior experience as endoscopy tech is preferred
