Job Duties: Associate, Software Engineering with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Dallas, Texas. Develop, enhance, and maintain the Firm’s software solutions in support of its global businesses. Design, implement and test software solutions to automate and streamline processes related to client data management, data warehousing, data engineering, data integration with firmwide systems. Assist in requirements gathering, user story refinement, development, testing (unit, integration and regression), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment. Identify new external technologies that can be used to transform our financial businesses and internal platforms in innovative and disruptive ways. Work in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to meet internal and regulatory requirements. Perform analytics and build reports for business and clients on regular basis.
Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in job offered or a related software engineering role. Prior experience must include two (2) years with the following skills: full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support; programming technologies including Java, Spring, and Kafka; using one or more software version control technologies, including Concurrent Version System (CVS), Apache SVN or Git; using Database Management Systems, including Sybase and MongoDB; working with large data sets and Big data tools, near real-time stream processing platforms, Snowflake or other data warehouses; and working with other team members and regularly communicating project status updates.
