Atlantic Beach Country Club is seeking fun, energetic team members.
This position requires light to moderate manual labor while working outside for extended hours. The position is customer service driven to serve our Members and Guests. Hours will vary depending on scheduling. Opening shifts will be from 6:30am-1pm on weekdays and 6am-1pm on weekends. Closing shifts will be from 1pm-dark or when the last Member/Guest leaves. We are looking for individuals who enjoy being outside and working with others to help in all facets of the outside golf operation.

Primary Responsibility: Provide Members and guests with friendly, courteous, diplomatic and knowledgeable golf bag and cart services.
Principle Duties:
- Welcome Members and guests to the Club.
- Assist and service golfers at bag drop area with golf clubs, shoes, misc items and cart loading.
- Provide parking lot pick up service to those who missed the bag drop area and to those guests who are utilizing the Club for meeting or social reasons.
- Maintains starting sheet for reference.
- Rental club, club storage and club cleaning service.
- Confirm purchase of range balls and dispense basket of driving range golf balls.
- Monitor and assist in the maintenance of the driveway, walkways, trash receptacles, ash trays, bag drop, range ball cabinetry, podium, practice green, cart building, carts and cart accessories.
- Maintain clean operating golf cart fleet, proper rotation, note and report any cart damage.
- Complete opening, shift and closing checklists.
- Protect the assets of the club, members and guests, ie. golf bags.
- Gather working knowledge of the Club’s policies and essential playing information and communicate to members and club guests.
Physical, Mental and Visual Skills
Good organizational and verbal Physical, Mental and Visual Skills. Ability to use logical or rational thinking to resolve issues. Ability to perform basic mathematical skills, monitor and develop subordinates, visually monitor the operation areas, write and read member communications.
Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work and may be required to lift up to 80lbs, up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 20 lbs constantly. Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting.
