Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Golf Cart Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting golf carts to and from customer locations, dealerships, and event venues. This position requires strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load, transport, and unload golf carts using a truck and trailer in a safe and efficient manner.
- Deliver golf carts to residential, commercial, and event locations, ensuring timely and professional service.
- Perform basic inspections of golf carts before and after delivery (e.g., checking battery levels, tire condition).
- Communicate clearly with customers and office staff regarding delivery times, instructions, and special requirements.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and paperwork.
- Ensure proper securing and protection of golf carts during transportation.
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of delivery vehicle and trailer.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company protocols.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL not required but may be a plus).
- Experience towing trailers and operating loading equipment preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs).
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Flexible availability, including occasional weekends or evenings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in vehicle delivery or transport services.
- Familiarity with golf carts or small engine vehicles.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
