Job Title: Golf Coach – After-School Program (TK–8th Grade)
Part-Time | Contract | $30–$37/hour
Location: McClellan Park, CA
We are seeking a reliable and encouraging Golf Coach to guide students in TK-8th grade through beginner-friendly golf lessons as part of our after-school program. This role is a rewarding opportunity to introduce the fundamentals of golf while supporting student growth through structured, character-focused instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead golf sessions emphasizing skill-building, patience, and sportsmanship
- Collaborate with site staff, administrators, and parents to create a community-oriented program
- Promote student well-being by incorporating character-building and nutrition tips into activities
- Adapt lessons to fit various age groups and skill levels
- Ensure student safety and respectful behavior throughout each session
- Record attendance and maintain communication with site leads
- Support any district-hosted culminating events or tournaments
Qualifications:
- Experience teaching or coaching golf or similar sports
- Comfortable working with students across TK-8th grade
- Strong communication, organization, and group leadership skills
- Must pass background check and fingerprinting requirements
Preferred Traits:
- Patient and student-focused with a passion for inclusive learning
- Enthusiastic about using sports to teach life skills
- Familiar with basic golf instruction for younger learners
