Qualifications:
- A passion for working with children.
- Knowledge of child development and up-to-date education methods preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with computers.
- Must attain all required state training certifications.
- Must pass a pre-employment criminal background investigation.
- A TB skin test will be required.
Education and or Experience:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- CDA preferred, but can be obtained on the job, paid by company.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to reach above head, bend from waist, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Current immunization against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (Tdap) before starting work. Exemption for religious reasons requires written documentation signed by the individual. Exemption for medical reasons requires written documentation signed by a licensed physician.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- First Aid/CPR (can complete on job)
- Medication Administration (can complete on the job)
