Together with the GP Talent Development team, this role is crucial in translating Micron’s Global Procurement (GP) strategic skills-based organization framework that guides effective career and learning pathways, design and facilitating skills-building initiatives, and driving impactful and sustainable talent development programs. Through strong collaboration with our Global HR Business Partners, this role will connect role-based skills to GP recruiting and performance management processes. Building positive relationships with GP leaders, team members, and collaborators to suggest talent program improvements is crucial.
Responsibilities:
Program Management
Lead end-to-end program management for GP Career Pathways and training initiatives, including strategic planning, execution, governance, and continuous improvement.
Define and maintain Career Pathways principles and playbooks to clarify skills development opportunities across GP and Micron.
Manage interdependencies, risks, and collaborator alignment across multiple initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of program achievements.
Apply structured methodologies to drive program adoption, incorporating change management, engagement, and communication strategies.
Develop and implement measurement strategies for key performance indicators, adoption metrics, and return on investment; analyze insights to guide strategic decisions and improve efficiency.
Talent Enablement
Design, deploy and facilitate skills-enabling solutions grounded in adult learning theory to deliver impacting skills-building experiences that align with business priorities and system/process requirements.
Translate Procurement technical content into engaging, learner-centered resources across delivery modalities (e.g., Instructor-led Training, Virtual Instructor-led Training, e-Learning, Microlearning).
Develop and maintain learning assets such as facilitator guides, job aids, and skills support tools.
Apply evaluation frameworks to assess learning effectiveness and business outcomes; use data and feedback to continuously refine programs.
Act as a consultant for customers regarding skills-building strategy, instructional design, and enablement standard methodologies.
Talent Development Strategy
Integrate AI/ digital trending approaches into talent development strategies to future-proof workforce capabilities.
Partner with HR and business customers to embed role-based development into performance management, succession planning, and talent processes.
Work with team members to identify skill gaps, build training programs, and integrate AI into learning solutions for innovation and efficiency.
Leverage research and data-driven insights to inform and evolve talent development strategies.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree with 3 -5 years of experience in corporate learning, talent management, program/project management, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Demonstrated success in managing and improving talent development programs and processes.
Strong program and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, timelines, and customers.
Proven expertise in instructional design, adult learning methodologies, and training delivery.
Experienced facilitator with the ability to design and deliver high-impact experiential learning solutions and interventions that drive engagement, skill development, and behavior change.
Passionate about enabling a people-centric culture and **encouraging** continuous learning.
Curious and business-savvy, with the ability to quickly understand organizational needs and translate them into effective talent solutions.
Tenacious self-starter with a bias for action, especially in ambiguous or fast-changing environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication with strong interpersonal, analytical, influencing and problem-solving skills.
Cross-culturally aware and inclusive, able to collaborate with a remote, globally distributed team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP or related Project Management certifications.
Familiarity with personality assessments (e.g., Emergenetics, StrengthsFinder).
Experience with learning platforms such as Workday LMS and collaboration tools like SharePoint online.
