Job Summary
The Graduation Coordinator/Admission and Records Specialist II has responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, maintaining student records, and evaluating and processing transcripts. This position is also responsible for processing candidates for graduation and coordinating commencement ceremonies. This is a non-exempt position that reports to LSCPA’s Admission and Records Department.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in related field
- Two years of demonstrated work experience in a general clerical and customer service role
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
SALARY
$35,000 - $40,000 annually
Work Hours
Monday – Friday, 40 hours a week; occasional overtime, as needed
Essential Job Functions

Process graduation applications and review student records to ensure all required documentation is in order

Verify graduates’ degree plans and determine student graduation eligibility by performing final degree audits and assisting with Degree Works (and other degree audit software) to ensure program completion

Plan and coordinate all aspects of the Commencement ceremonies

Process major, name, address, phone and other official student information changes

Process student transcript requests received electronically, online, and in-person
