We are seeking a Fitness Instructor to join our successful gym. As a Fitness Instructor, you will plan and lead fitness classes, ensuring that people of all fitness levels are able to participate. Responsibilities
- Lead a wide variety of classes to fitness studio members and guests
- Develop classes that are physically challenging, while keeping students engaged and safe
- Encourage students to continue with their pursuit of exercising and help them make good health decisions
- Promote programs, classes, and membership through social media and networking
- Deliver exceptional customer service in accordance with business policies
- High school diploma/GED required
- Current personal trainer or fitness instructor certification
- Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferred
- First aid and CPR-certified
- Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
