Job Description:
We are looking for experienced ministry minded hospitality champions that love to serve others and help make the fun happen! If this is you, we want to connect!
The Camp Host General Responsibilities include:
- Greet and host assigned guest groups and provide them with great service and necessary guidance throughout their stay.
- Help host meal periods and guide the group to their next function.
- Help bring life to the party by safely helping to facilitate fun activities for groups that include Archery, Fishing, Low-Ropes Challenge Course, Air-Soft, Giant Swing, and Zip-line and more.
- Help maintain clean and organized facilities and equipment and complete reporting, filing and billing tasks as needed.
- Set up rooms and equipment for groups as assigned and assist with housekeeping tasks in camp & cabins before arriving groups and after parting groups.
- Attend Guest Services meetings and other meetings and provide feedback about current and past groups in a professional manner.
- Have a working knowledge of and/or be capable of learning to use computers, software, camp software/apps.
- Be willing to be on-call for assigned group needs if necessary.
- Be capable of working long hours on your feet and completing sometimes strenuous physical tasks.

- Demonstrate healthy and consistent practices of prayer, bible study, fellowship, and church attendance, and be open to discussing such things
- Partners with Canyonview in the share commitment to design and carry out ministry with a dependence on prayer and from the overflow of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Compensation:
During peak summer seasons the position can work from 3 to 5 days a week. During the off-peak seasons of Fall, Winter, and early Spring there will be less hours and some on-call requirements. Compensation included all meals offered during your work shifts, paid training, and uniform shirts. Employee's children go to some camps free. Hourly are $14 to $17 depending on experience.
Oregon State Requirements: Complete a criminal background check. Must be 18 years or older. This is not a seasonal position and beings immediately.
