You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued. Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables and service stations.
- Assist with food preparation and handling as needed to support kitchen staff.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
Skills
- Proficiency in handling money and operating Toast POS systems for order processing.
- Strong math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent guest relations skills to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards.
- Experience in food preparation is a plus, enhancing service efficiency.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively, contributing to overall sales goals.
- Culinary knowledge that allows for informed recommendations to guests.
