We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team at a premier resort/hotel. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a memorable experience for all visitors. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of hospitality and guest relations.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests during check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
- Manage reservations through phone systems and online platforms, ensuring accuracy in bookings.
- Conduct night audits as required, balancing accounts and preparing reports for management.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance the guest experience.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
- Maintain the front desk area in a clean and organized manner, reflecting the hotel's standards of excellence.
- Assist in training new staff members on front desk operations and guest service protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a resort or hotel setting.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations gracefully.
- Proficiency in phone systems and reservation software is an advantage.
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to our diverse clientele.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on guest relations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Typical hours are afternoons, 3pm-8pm but hours may vary.
