We are seeking a dedicated and professional Door Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises while providing excellent customer service to guests and visitors. This role requires a vigilant individual who can manage access control and respond effectively to any incidents that may arise.
Duties
- Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring only authorized personnel enter.
- Greet guests and visitors with a friendly demeanor, providing assistance as needed.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, following established protocols.
- Maintain surveillance through CCTV systems, reporting any suspicious activity.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or security breaches.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary, providing information and support during incidents.
- Document all activities, incidents, and observations in a clear and concise manner.
Skills
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Experience in loss prevention or security roles is preferred.
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation.
- Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
- Ability to remain vigilant and attentive for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
