Are you interested living on Utah Lake, We are looking for a Harbor Master to live on site year round, This position is a five-day work week with 2 days off. More than 40 hours per week may be required during the spring and summer months.
Requirements:
- Must live on site in the non-smoking 2-bedroom 1 bath house,
- The resident will be required to maintain a clean and orderly residence and yard; this property is subject to inspection by board members.
- Possession of a valid Utah Driver's License or ability to obtain one in 30 days. Responsible to main personal liability insurance.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to life up to 40 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to work with a diverse public, and present a good public image.
- Must be self-managed, understand and follow verbal instruction with minimal supervision.
- Minimal lap top skills: use a laptop to activate/deactivate gate cards and monitor security cameras.
- Experience in use and maintenance of hand tools, lawn maintenance equipment, including lawnmowers, wee trimmers and sprinkler parts.
- The ability to safely operate a side-by-side, tractor, riding lawn mower and attachments.
- Ability to work outside in different elements and a variety of temperatures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Property security: Monitor the security cameras and property for trespassers, theft and vandalism.
- Reset Gate as needed.
- Property and Lawn care to include, Weekly lawn mowing, watering, wee whacking, and removal of overgrowth, weeds and stickers, Apply Fertilizer to the grass when requested.
- Janitorial work to include Light Maintenance and cleaning of clubhouse, 4 outside showers, clubhouse and 4 outside bathrooms, clean and stock bathrooms up to 3 times a day during weekends Holidays and club activities
- Property Maintenance to include: collecting and picking up litter, debris and brush from grounds and parking areas, Empty trac containers, remove snow from sidewalks, patio and porches as needed.
- Record Members RV's Boats and vehicles parked on stored club property on inventory spreadsheet every Wednesday Deliver report to club Treasurer at every Board Meeting,
- Assist work Party Charman and club member with member work hour requirements/ receipts
- Assist Work Party and Property/Panning Co-chairs when needed.
- Once a week Drain the sand Filter in the pump house.
- Must Maintain a running vehicle to do minor errands. Filling club gas containers and club supplies.
- Maintain and order or purchase as needed: cleaning supplies, propane for tanks, gas for mowers and ice for ice freezer
- ensure guest have paid camping fees.
- Collect guest camping fees from the deposit box and give them to the Treasurer.
- Weed and Pest Control to include: read and understand Safety Data Sheets, safely mix and apply chemicals to control the eradicate weed, insects and other pests on the property.
Light maintenance of mowing equipment and sprinkler/sprinkler system: check and maintain oil levels in riding and hand mowers. Repair broken sprinklers as needed
