- Industrial Chemicals, Inc. is a Birmingham-based, well- established company in business since 1970. We are currently seeking to fill a positions at our Jefferson location for day shift . We offer a competitive compensation and benefits program for the candidates who meet the following requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Verifies load against shipping papers
Drive truck to destinations
Signs and accepts paperwork for material to pick up
Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck conditions
Maintains driver log according to regulations
Assists workers in loading and unloading truck
Maintains Bills of Landing and other required documents
Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of CDL driving experience
Skills and Abilities:
Must have a Class B CDL
Must have Tank Hazard Endorsement Certification
Must be able to pass a background checking drug and alcohol screening
NOTE: Occasional overnight travel is possible
