About Lily P’s
Lily P’s is a wood-fired pizza concept that we want to bring to life in the space formerly known as Annabelle’s, inside the beautiful Frog Alley Taproom. This concept will serve as the kitchen for the taproom, while also standing on its own as a destination open to the public.
Our goal is to make a bold entrance into the Capital Region’s pizza scene by reimagining the classics and creating new, unapologetically creative styles of pizza that demand attention—from across the street to across upstate.
The Role: Head Chef
We’re looking for a culinary leader who’s passionate about pizza, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to take ownership of a new kitchen from day one. This is a working leadership role for a chef who’s just as comfortable on the line as they are guiding a team.
You’ll run daily kitchen operations, help shape the menu, and set the tone for a kitchen that runs with precision, heart, and hustle.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the kitchen’s day-to-day operations — from prep to service
- Oversee a scratch-made menu centered around wood-fired pizza and elevated pub fare
- Work the line and lead by example, with speed, finesse, and attention to detail
- Train, and develop a high-performing kitchen team
- Collaborate with ownership on ongoing menu development
- Maintain high standards for food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Manage inventory, ordering, and kitchen organization
- Champion a clean, safe, and professional work environment
Who You Are
- A seasoned culinarian with leadership experience in high-volume kitchens
- knowledgeable and passionate about pizza, especially artisan and wood-fired styles
- Creative and confident in developing elevated, approachable menus
- Strong communicator with a leadership style that builds trust and respect
- Calm under pressure, organized, and relentlessly quality-driven
- Familiar with inventory systems, cost control, and food safety standards
- Food Safety Certified (or open to getting certified)
