Position: Head of Install
Location: Denver, Colorado
Reports To: Integrator
Department: Install
Direct Reports: Install Specialist, Install Lead, Install Tech
As Head of Install, you’ll lead the full installation department—from scheduling and team development to quality assurance and profitability. You’ll work cross-functionally with the Studio and Production departments to ensure every transition is smooth and every job finishes with excellence. What You’ll Do:
Lead, Manage, and Hold Accountable
Guide, support, and evaluate the entire install team- Conduct performance reviews, interviews, and hiring decisions
- Coach team members for growth and elevate leads to take on more ownership
- Identify and resolve morale or skill issues before they impact outcomes
- Serve as a cultural and operational leader in EOS team meetings
Install Quality Control
Ensure all installs meet Vonmod’s craftsmanship and finish standards- Collaborate with Studio and PMs on feedback loops and proactive problem-solving
- Work with the Install Specialist to standardize punch list processes and field resolution protocols
Install P&L Ownership -
Track labor hours and budget adherence on every job- Identify variances, cost leaks, and workflow inefficiencies
- Collaborate with leadership to report on department profitability
- Optimize install resourcing to support both timeline and margin targets
Install Workload & Scheduling
Maintain a clear install schedule aligned with project phases and production flow- Reassign labor as needed to meet deadlines or accommodate team capacity
- Communicate shifts and field updates clearly to internal and external stakeholders
Infrastructure & Tools
Oversee maintenance and readiness of all install vehicles, tools- Identify equipment upgrades and implement infrastructure improvements
- Ensure jobsite safety and equipment protocols are followed
- Van and Homebase inventory
Workflow Creation & Refinement - John
Review and refine install-related SOPs for clarity, efficiency, and compliance- Establish new SOPs when process changes are implemented
- Ensure documentation reflects reality in the field—and is followed by all
You’ll be a great fit if you:
Have 5+ years of leadership experience in casework installation or custom construction- Know what it takes to coach and scale a high-performing field team
- Are confident managing people, process, and profit—all at once
- Excel at project scheduling and cross-departmental coordination
- Understand how to elevate others while holding a high standard
- Prefer clarity over chaos—and know how to create it

Each week, you’ll help drive:
100% of installs completed on time and within estimated hours- 100% of install team reviews and development plans up to date
- 100% of install SOPs followed and refined where needed
- Weekly P&L reports with actionable insights shared with leadership
